96% Polyester 4% Elastane Satin.

This garment is made from 95% polyester and 5% elastane, a fabric blend chosen for its durability, drape and ability to retain its shape wear after wear. Polyester is a synthetic fibre derived from fossil fuels, and its production has environmental impacts, including greenhouse gas emissions and the use of non-renewable resources.

Rather than presenting polyester as a sustainable material, we focus on extending the life of garments through rental. Every time a garment is rented and worn again, it has the potential to replace the need for a newly manufactured item. By keeping clothing in use for longer, we can help reduce demand for additional production, along with the associated energy use, raw materials and carbon emissions.

Rental also helps prevent occasion-wear and trend-led pieces from being worn only once and then left unworn in wardrobes or discarded prematurely. By sharing garments across multiple customers, we maximise the value and lifespan of each piece before it reaches the end of its useful life.

While no garment is impact-free, we believe that using clothes more and producing fewer new ones is an important step towards a more circular fashion system.
